The role:
The purpose of this new role is to spearhead the acquisition of new clients in the UK and abroad.
The New Business Director will be responsible for both outbound and inbound sales enquiries in order to result in appointment or opportunities to pitch. The responsibility for winning or converting these opportunities will rest with the Agency directors’.
The job:
- Planning and implementing new business activity
- Managing the data base
- Targeting relevant sectors
- Contacting potential clients via telephone, mailers, email..
- Managing the marketing material
- Fielding enquiries and involving the relevant team member
- Organising presentations and pitches
- Relationship building with intermediaries, journalists and prospects
- Creation of awards entry and events strategies
- Raising the profile of Agency through marketing eg events, coordination with PR agency
- Monthly reporting of activity and knowledge sharing
- Pitch management
- Conference attendance
- Direct calling of cold approaches
